258 vehicles blacklisted in Bhubaneswar & Cuttack

Bhubaneswar (16/10/2025): A total of 258 vehicles have been blacklisted in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

A significant number of vehicle owners are habitually violating traffic rules and failing to pay the fines imposed for such violations.

In first phase, 258 such violators have been identified, and a formal request was sent by the Commissionerate Police to the State Transport Authority (STA), Odisha for cancellation of Registration Certificates and Finess Certificates of the concerned vehicles. In this regard, the STA has issued instructions to all Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) to blacklist such vehicles and initiate action for cancellation of Registration Certificates and Fitness Certificates, particularly in cases involving repeated traffic violations.
